Calling Junior Paleontologists! Come and join our Dino Discovery Junior Paleontologists Club and learn all about the well-known, and not-so-well-known dinosaurs that lived in the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods in history. You can join whenever you like! Each week we will learn about a new dinosaur - how to pronounce its name, what we think it looked like, how big it was, fossils and discoveries about that dino, the paleontologists who discovered it, what it ate, if it was carnivorous or a herbivore, where in the world it lived and when. We will learn through pictures and short video clips, games, and quizzes. Plus, every week we will draw the dino and you can create an information sheet for everything we have learned about and start to put together your own encyclopedia of dinosaurs! We will be learning many new words too, like herbivore, carniferous, Triassic, extinction and more, as well as some of the roles involved in dinosaur discovery, including paleoartists, paleobotanists and paleogeographers. Here are our next few months of classes for Dino Discovery. (subject to change if we have a learner request!): 6th Jan 2025 Baryonyx 13th Jan 2025 Confuciusornis 20th Jan 2025 Giganotosaurus 27th Jan 2025 Pegomastax 3rd Feb 2025 Pachycephalosaurus 10th Feb 2025 Styracosaurus 17th Feb 2025 Majungasaurus 24th Feb 2025 Ammosaurus 3rd Mar 2025 Vulcanodon 10th Mar 2025 Bagaceratops 17th Mar 2025 Minmi 24th Mar 2025 Brachiosaurus From time to time, we will also look at areas in the world where you can visit and find fossils of dinosaurs. We look forward to welcoming you into one of our Dino Discovery Clubs!
Learning Goals
Students will get to learn about dinosaurs across different periods, their habitats and the geography of where they lived. Learners will get a sense of history, learn about some of the first reptiles, extinction and paleontology, as well as increase their vocabulary with zoological and paleontological terminology.

Is your child a multi-passionate, multi-potentialite learner? Welcome to KIDS Literally!
Our team of teachers have been specifically selected to uphold our values and approach to education, and to create some awesome, fun and engaging classes for your learners.
At KIDS Literally, we believe that every child is different and that there is not one way to gain an education. We believe that an engaged learner is one who learns best. That's why we incorporate a variety of approaches in our online classes so that every child has a chance to shine.
We are passionate about interest-based learning where we link your child's Interests to gaining Knowledge, Discovery and developing Skills. It really is the best approach to engaging children in every subject!
Our classes and groups teach collaboration, critical thinking and communication skills, as well as STEAM concepts. We combine a range of different interests with our educational approach to deliver learning on a whole new level. We value the skills and lessons that can be learned through play and playing games together. The classes we will be offering will be very, much hands-on and experiential. This might be learning through nature, having fun, using our creativity, developing research techniques, using technology and picking up some important life skills along the way too. We will also bring in approaches from Montessori and Reggio into many of our classes.
*** GAMESCHOOLING ***
Gameschooling is learning through playing games! We are big fans of gamification in learning, so you will also find that many of our classes will include games and learning through playing them. There are so many skills we can develop from playing games, and most games have some great lessons to learn, and students are often more engaged when learning something through a game they love.
One of our specialities is teaching Escape Rooms, where learners can develop critical thinking, teamwork and problem-solving skills, as well as increase their knowledge of a subject!
We look forward to meeting your learners in one of our classes!
