Understand the importance of one to one correspondence when counting. Count groups of objects from 1 to 10, read numerals and number words to 10, represent numbers to 10 on a ten frame, understand the concept of 0, understand the sequence of numbers from 0 to 10, order numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least, compare numbers to 10.
