Other Details
Parental Guidance
Required for class:
Google Account (either the learner's own account or a guardian's account that is accessible to the learner): We will be using Google Slides to create pages, so students must be able to access this application.
Optional for class:
Flipgrid: An account is not needed for this website, because learners can choose the option to log in with the same Google account they are using for Slides.
Supply List
Digital supplies will be distributed for students to use for each weekly project. In week one, I will point out several websites where learners can find their own supplies in the future (with parental permission, of course).
External Resources
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Teacher expertise and credentials
California Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
Master's Degree in Education from National University
Mrs. Trem has been teaching math for 14 years, both in the classroom and online. She holds a single subject teaching credential in mathematics, a supplemental credential in English, and a Masters in Education with an emphasis on Educational Technology.
But none of that really matters for this scrapbooking class! In her spare time, Mrs. Trem also loves scrapbooking memories of her family and has been doing so since her own teenage years. She has had digital scrapbook spreads published in Creating Keepsakes magazine and online as a guest designer with various digital scrapbook blogs.
