Class experience
Learn the basics of digital photography in this five day camp. Each day students will work on editing photographs based on a theme. All that is needed is a digital camera (phone camera will do) and an app on a phone, tablet, or PC for editing Photos. All demonstrations will be done in Photos on a Mac, but the tools will be those which are standard across apps and platforms. All photos for the days theme will be assigned the day before so students can take the photos prior to the next class....
I have taught digital photography and traditional photography to high school students and middle school students for 6+ years.
Students will need a digital camera of some sort (phone, tablet, traditional) and a device to edit them on. Any photo editing app that has basic tools such as cropping, contrast, saturation, shadows, highlights, sharpen, and any other tools available in the app.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
