includedClass Experience
Ready to learn how businesses grow online? In Digital Marketing 101, students will get a fun, practical intro to the basics of digital marketing. This course is perfect for teens curious about social media, content creation, email marketing, and more—no prior experience needed! Over 10 weeks, students will explore topics like branding, target audience, content creation, and email marketing. By the end of the course, they’ll have a starter digital marketing portfolio and a solid understanding of how marketing works in the real world. To make it easier, I’ll provide custom templates (like social media post mockups, content calendars, and branding guides) to help students practice without starting from scratch! 🗓️ Class Structure: -Watch short video lessons with examples or slides -Complete a short quiz for knowledge check (like Kahoot) -Complete practical assignments (like creating social media posts or email templates) -Use Padlet to share their work -This self-paced format lets students work through the material on their own schedule, but they’ll still have weekly prompts to keep them on track. 🎤 My Teaching Style: I keep things casual, interactive, and student-centered. I’ll break down digital marketing concepts into simple steps and use real-life examples to make learning engaging. Each lesson will be easy to follow and will tie into things students care about, whether it’s fashion, gaming, or sports. 🤝 Learner Interaction: Although this is an asynchronous course, students will still interact by: -Posting on Padlet for weekly updates, sharing ideas, and feedback. -Commenting on each other’s work in the class discussion. -Receiving feedback from me on their assignments to help them improve. -I’ll be available throughout the course to answer questions, offer support, and provide feedback. 🎯 Class Expectations: Students should come ready to: -Complete weekly lessons and assignments. -Spend about 30-60 minutes per week on work. -Engage in discussions and share their ideas. This is a supportive space where creativity and learning from mistakes are encouraged!

Padlet – used for posting project updates and reflections (no account required; students will use a private class link and post anonymously or with nicknames).
Canva– some students may use Canva to create mockup posts or visuals. If used, they can access it with a free account or without signing in through shared templates.
Kahoot (for review games) – used to play short, interactive quizzes (no account required—students join with a game PIN).
All tools are used strictly for educational purposes only, and we make sure students know how to participate safely. No outside communication or personal information is required at any time.
