Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Mahan and I teach classes relating to computers and software. Classes will cover multiple areas of computer science to include the digital forensic field.
Currently, I am the Director of Training at a forensic software company. Before this, I worked as a digital forensic analyst at a law enforcement agency where I was also part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. I graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Digital Forensics and have attended several subject matter specialty schools such as the USSS National Computer Forensic Institute.
I love teaching! This is my hobby and my career. I created these classes for children because I enjoy sharing important knowledge that can easily translate into real world application. My goal is to inspire youth to enter into the cyber security and digital forensic field.
I also love raising chickens, going for walks in the woods with my dog, and hanging out with my family!
