You and your team are locked inside a vault, around you there are hundreds of safety deposit boxes and on the floor millions of coins.

Together you decide to look for clues.

Digging into the coins you discover a small golden key attached to a slip of paper with the words "HELP ME", written by a shaky hand, turning the paper over your eyes widen as you see...

This is a math class based on an Escape Room and will offer students the opportunity to work in small groups to practice online communication skills, problem solving and thinking skills in addition to math fundamentals.
Students will be metaphorically “locked in” during this game, and will need to decipher codes and solve puzzles to move between challenges within a given time period.

In order to be successful, teams will need to use good communication, attention to detail, and cooperation.

Primarily reviewing the Math topic "money" and "time", students should be familiar with the following concepts & skills:
- Operations with decimal numbers
- Decimal place value
- Time and dates
- Pattern spotting

Your teacher will be available to help you with hints and morale support throughout your incarceration.

BANK VAULT LOCK-IN - There is one route through this room with differentiated levels of challenge for most puzzles and plenty of hints.

Two/Three Star - Accessible for all learners with more challenging puzzles than One Star Rooms and hints when required.
MONEY MONEY MONEY - This room is as much about navigating your way through situations, and problem solving, as it is about the actual math. There is an initial code sheet (10-20 minutes prep before the class).
GRINGOTTS WIZARDING BANK - There is one route through this room with differentiated levels of challenge for most puzzles and plenty of hints.

Two/Three Star - Accessible for all learners with more challenging puzzles than One Star Rooms and hints when required.
