"This world is but a canvas to our imagination." Henry David Thoreau In this club, we will create digital art using your favorite drawing tool, like Procreate, iArtbook, Sketchpad, Inkscape... We will have a weekly drawing theme to draw and share with each other. We will share our favorite drawing apps, and any tips we might have for each other. Most importantly we will practice our art and have fun!! I will start out providing the the themes, but if you have ideas I will add them to the list. After all, this class is all bout you having fun and drawing. Some of the possible themes will be: underwater fox, jellyfish flower, dog in space, flying cat.... First week theme: Draw your favorite animal as a super heroe.

This class is a digital drawing class. Students will need access to digital tools such as Procreate, Inkscape, iArtbook, Sketchpad and at least basic knowledge of how to use the tool.

I am a certified teacher offering classes in Spanish, English as a Second Language, Reading, and elementary school subjects and crochet. When I was in high school, I had an opportunity to internship at an elementary school and from that moment I fell in love with education. I went on to get my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and have been teaching ever since. I started out in the regular elementary classroom and then had opportunities to teach Spanish, Reading and English as a Second Language.
I love helping children grow as learners. It gives me great joy to see them learn and achieve their goals. There is nothing better than working with a struggling reader and hearing them say "I can read this!" I believe that children learn best when they are having fun, and feel safe. It is my goal to make each child feel this way. I want them to know that they matter to me.
I was born in Venezuela and moved to the states at the age of 10. This has helped me connect with my ESL students in the past because I understand what they are going through. In Venezuela they speak Spanish, which is why I feel comfortable teaching Spanish to young learners. I have 3 kids and I decided to work from home so that I could enjoy as much of my time with them as possible. Time flies and I want to continue working in education and encouraging children to find a love of learning.Reviews
