Description
Class Experience
In this class, students will learn about what it means to be a digital citizen - learning to be safe, smart and responsible while using online platforms. They will also learn about the importance of having a good digital footprint and how this will help them in the future. Day 1: What is a digital citizen? Day 2: Keeping yourself safe on the internet. Day 3: Leaving a good digital footprint. Students will interaction with the teacher and other participants, as we discuss each week's topic....
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn what it means to be a good digital citizen. Students will learn what strategies to use to keep themselves safer on the internet. Students will learn how to create an effective digital footprint, that will help them later in school and work.
Students will be asked to bring examples of their digital footprint to class, so that we can discuss their online profile.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
