Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn about making complex passwords, keeping private information safe online, and identifying and filtering out “ fake news”. We will also discuss more advanced topics: Evaluating evidence, photos and videos and social media posts. I teach you in a very energetic way, and value practical instruction and discussion! At the end of the course, students will have improved their understanding of digital safety and digital citizenship.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
