Come learn the basics of using the app procreate to create digital art! This class is for students with little or no experience using the application. This is a great course to take prior to taking my other Digital Art classes.
Class experience
Students will learn in a small group via zoom video chat with Cara. Instruction will be given step-by-step and students will be assisted along the way. No prior knowledge is required for this course. Students will learn some basics about using the digital art application Procreate. Student Materials Needed: *Ipad *Procreate Drawing App ($12 in the App Store) *Stylus - An Apple Pencil is best, but any stylus can be used. *Some images to use on their iPad's camera roll. *Students will learn some Procreate basics. *Students will learn to effectively use layers in Procreate. *Students will learn to use a variety of brushes in Procreate.
Homework Offered
Students may need to finish a project outside of class if they cannot finish it during class time.Assessments Offered
Students will self-assess their work verbally with the teacher. We will focus on constructive criticism, how to self-assess, and being resilient in art-making.Grades Offered
