Description

Class Experience

This class is an ongoing format. Students will sketch a new pet portrait every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Prior attendance and knowledge of the subject is not required to attend.

Students will learn the basics of digital art. Using layers, brushes and masks they will create animal faces digitally. We will go over how to break down a drawing into simple shapes on a sketch layer before getting more detailed...

Students will learn the fundamental techniques in digital painting, including:
● Layers
● Brushes
● Bucket Tool
● Clipping mask 
● Stamp tool 
● Coloring/Shading/Highlights

Hardware: 
Computer or Drawing tablet with a stylus
Software: 
Drawing program - Autodesk Sketchbook is recommended. Free download is available at www.sketchbook.com on mobile devices.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

For learners under 13 years old, a parent account is required for software download.
