No previous experience is necessary, this class is beginner friendly. -we will be drawing a kawaii-style cat I will guide students step by step and navigate through the different features of procreate. We will learn how to create layers, use adjustment tools, save and share their work. Students will have the option of following my steps but also add their own personal touch. I always encourage creativity and ideas when they are working on their own artworks. * procreate can only be installed on APPLE devices. Students must have the procreate app installed on their devices before class A Drawing stylus is highly recommended

Happy you are here! this is my biography:
Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
