I have 7+ years of teaching experience with various ages of children. I strive to make my classes fun, personal, and academically enriching. Students will get personal responses to their work and direct feedback. My teaching goal is always to provide a friendly, fun environment in which students feel safe to try, make mistakes, ask questions, and try again.

Most work will occur during the class as students follow along and work as the teacher demonstrates. There will also be short work periods during class for students to implement what they've just learned. Occasionally there may be a home assignment, which should take no longer than 20 minutes a week.

The class moves forward together from one subject/focus to another. Each students' comprehension of the subjects will be informally assessed. If additional help is needed, a student may be given a video to review during the week or other supplemental materials meant to help promote their learning, rather than judge their progress. Letter grades or numbering systems are not used in my classrooms.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
