This is a beginner's animation club. However, student's should be familiar and comfortable with the basic functions of the Procreate app. Students will be introduced and explore the Procreate animation feature. Procreate makes it very easy to learn animation. 
Students will learn how to easily build animated gifs in Procreate. Procreate is available only for Apple Ipad. There is a one time fee of $12.99 for the app. Students also need a digital drawing stylus or Apple Pencil.

There will be a recommendation for a stylus after enrollment. 

Welcome to our fun and exciting Beginner's Animation Club for Kids! Over the next four weeks, you'll dive into the world of animation, learning step-by-step how to bring your creative ideas to life. This self-paced course is perfect for young animators eager to explore the basics of animation tools, principles, and techniques.

In this club, you'll get acquainted with the animation tool, learning how to navigate the interface, create simple shapes, and make them move. You'll also be introduced to the fundamental principles of animation, like timing, spacing, and squash and stretch, which are the building blocks that will make your animations look lively and realistic.

As you progress, you'll explore adding text to your animations, making your stories come alive with words and movement, and even create your very own food animations, turning everyday items into animated masterpieces. By the end of this club, you’ll have a collection of fun animations and a solid foundation in animation skills!
