Digital Art Club: Procreate Drawing
In this weekly class, students will learn tips and tricks for using Procreate while exploring their creativity. They can choose to draw freely or follow a step-by-step lesson—it's up to them!

In this ongoing weekly class, students can use the Procreate app to draw whatever they like or follow a step-by-step lesson with the teacher. Creativity is encouraged! An iPad (or iPhone), Procreate, and a stylus (Apple Pencil or another compatible option) are required. ⚠️ Note: This class requires the app Procreate. The app can be purchased for around $10 USD from the apple store. Please check device compatibility. If the student is slow at drawing or coloring, it's okay! We all create at our own pace, but unfortunately, we only have the time that we have so the student may be encouraged to finish their piece after class. The classes are recorded so the students are able to watch the recording, go at their own pace (by pausing the video), and try to draw it again. My goal for this class is to not only teach the students how to draw, but to also give the students practice and techniques to improve their artistic skills on a regular basis. Practice = progress. During the class, we will socialize and talk about the things that we're drawing and about our art journeys. We may also talk about different features on the Procreate app. Students don't need to have prior knowledge of Procreate as I will be showing them a detailed insight to my art process, using the Procreate app. ⚠️ Note: Sometimes students request to draw holiday themed activities like decorating a tree, going trick-or-treating, or celebrating a birthday. If you don't celebrate holidays, feel free to reach out and we'll talk about it. Thanks! Knowledge of prior drawing classes will not be necessary since there will be new drawings to draw every week. Students can join this class at any point without getting lost. This is a no pressure class. We are just drawing, socializing, and having fun! Students will have the option to share their drawing during class, if they want to. I will be using a webcam (face) and a screenshare from my IPAD to share what I'm drawing on Procreate. Students may be muted if there is a lot of background noise or if other students are talking. Please show them how to unmute themselves when they are ready to talk. Parental Guidance
This class requires an IPAD, an apple pencil, and the app Procreate. The Procreate app is available for purchase for around $10 USD. This is a third-party app that will need to be downloaded onto the student's IPAD. You don't need to create an account to use this app. Procreate does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from its users. This is an app that is purchased through the Apple app store as a one time purchase with no additional communication or logging in to access.

I hold a B.A. in Foreign Language (specializing in French) and a minor in Creative Writing, as well as an M.A.Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), with a TESOL certification. I earned all my degrees from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Passion for Art:
Art has always been a significant part of my life. From childhood doodles to professional-level projects, I’ve cultivated my skills and share my passion through social media and now, Outschool! I love blending creativity with structured learning to help students build confidence in their artistic abilities.
What I Teach:
I offer engaging art classes designed to spark creativity, from whimsical illustrations to techniques that build artistic fundamentals. Whether your child is an aspiring artist or simply looking for a fun creative outlet, my classes are a perfect fit!

Outside the Classroom:
When I’m not teaching, I spend most of my time creating art, penpalling, and making YouTube videos. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our adorable dog.
