In this one time session we will explore the different representations of Ratios: (Example: 1 to 2, 1:2 and 1/2) . We will review part to part, part to whole for ratio questions/word problems. Practice how to respond to word problems about Ratios. Examples will be displayed through google slides and students are encouraged to participate either by speaking up or through Zoom chat. After the learners review Ratio word problem examples, the class will start a Blooket session to demonstrates understanding. Game will ask similar word problems or display images that will ask for the ratio. Blooket link will be shared in class and game ID will be sent in Zoom chat. There is no need to create a Blooket account, it is free to use with Game ID that will be shared in class.
