Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about important Vikings (King Cnut and Leif Ericson) and key aspects of the Viking culture - runes, mythology, ships, trading and raiding....)
I love history and I always enjoy learning more and helping others discover as well. This class will use articles and stories that I have written as well as narrated PowerPoint presentations to help students discover this interesting culture. The presentations include video clips, images and engaging stories that will help students feel interested and excited about the Vikings!
4 assignments - Vocabulary practice page, Reading comprehension questions, creating a timeline and writing a story. These assignments are all supported by the narrated PowerPoints, articles and videos.
I will provide all articles and materials.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
