Description
Class Experience
*Vocal warmups for actors. *Skills to better articulate language. *Skills to have a stronger presence on stage. *Skills to enunciate while maintaining volume in speech. *Skills to adjust volume to room size.
I am a theater professional, working with a professional musical theater training program for k-12. I have also held various technical and performance roles with professional and amateur theater in my area. I have a minor in Theater and Linguistics as well as awards for performance.
Students are encouraged to practice the exercises from class on their own each day.
Students may want a notebook to write down the sentence they will be working on and to take notes about various exercises.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Self, Teacher, and Classmate feedback will be provided. As a teacher, I will try to give students specific feedback on which skills will help round out their vocal technique.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please note that if we have a smaller class, we may end earlier as there will be less students to perform at the end of the workshop.
