This class is taught in English.
Students will discuss the literary elements of A Christmas Carol including theme, plot, characters, relationships, and literary devices. Students will also discuss the meaning of some vocabulary words in each stave. Students will compare and contrast a movie version to the book.
Homework Offered
Students may get short assignments concerning the book. For example: conditions in London, boarding schools, Christmas food, currency, carols of the day.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
