Class Experience

This class is a great chance for your teen learner to work on a project of Diamond Art that they love while meeting others with the same interest. Diamond Art is great for teaching learners how to focus on a certain task and about setting and meeting goals. Diamond Art also helps with patience and self-esteem as completing a diamond art project is very rewarding!
In class each student will have the chance to share their projects and any prior projects they have completed. Each learner will also set goals for the class. We will also go over basic internet safety tips. Learners will be encouraged to work on their individual projects during the week to show at the next class.
**Learners will need their own supplies for this class.**

Each week will have a different theme or topic. To get started the class will start with the following:

Week 1: Getting started-organizing your working space and your tools. Learners will set goals for what section/time spent on their project for the week.

Week 2: Learners will share tips on how to work on large projects. Will learners work on their projects we will discuss internet safety tips.

Week 3: Learners will share the progress they have made on their projects and set 2 goals for the upcoming week.

Week 4: Learners will continue to share their projects while discussing different ways of how to protect themselves online.

This class is offered specifically to teens. If you have younger learners, please look for the class for pre-teens.

I feel in love with Diamond Art Painting a few years ago and believe everyone who shares this passion, especially teens, should have a safe place to share their passion while getting to "meet" others who share the same passion. I also feel setting goals and watching their work come to completion is wonderful for anyone's self esteem!
