Class Experience

*Please note, the prerequisite for this class is (at minimum) the first 9 units of my "Conversational French: Learning to Speak French for beginners". This class is about 85% French-immersive, with minimal English to support students.

Each week, we will review content previously learned, and students will dialogue in French, carrying on conversations and filling roles related to the topic of the week. The first part of class will be a review (mostly French, with a bit of English) , the middle part of class will be students acting out various roles (completely in French), and the ending will be a Kahoot! or other game for students to practice (English/French).

While each week has a suggested dialogue topic, students are always welcome to initiate a conversation of their own choosing.

Week 1: Reviewing unit 2-3--rooms in the house and furniture.
Dialogue suggestions: Real-estate agent, tour guide showing off a famous person's house

Week 2: Reviewing units 4-5--food
Dialogue suggestions: family grocery shopping together, ordering in a restaurant
