Class Experience

In this lighthearted class, learners will use crazy animal photo writing prompts to collaborate to find great ways to write descriptions. (i.e. "The greedy raccoon ate all the tasty chicken feed.")

The teacher will review parts of speech (noun, verb, adjective, adverb) as needed and introduce discussions about what's happening in each picture, what actions may have preceded the photo, and what the consequences might be. Learners will then create and write a brief (one-sentence to short...

This class is taught in English.

Students will practice writing thoughts into whole sentences, and move beyond simple subject, verb, object into using describing words.

As a linguist by training and a homesteader by choice, I was born to teach this class!

Please bring something to write with (type on) and something to write on to class - as well as your imagination and sense of humor!

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Learners should already be able to write (or type), and bring their imaginations and sense of humor.

A thesaurus (online or print) might be helpful.
