My name is Delora and I teach classes here on Outschool! In addition to teaching online, I also work as a district Instructional Technology Integration Specialist in South Carolina. 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, am National Board Certified as a General Education teacher, and have a Master of Science in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment! 

I value a student-centered approach and growth mindset.  I aim to make sure every student leaves class feeling confident in their ability to learn.

Assessments Offered
Formative assessments will be given in the class to determine the baseline for the student. A pre-/post-assessment format will be used in the sessions to measure the growth of the student and to inform the teacher of what concepts are mastered and which need review. Formative assessments also help inform the teacher of any misconceptions or patterns in error that the studnet may make. Assessments are lowstake and are given in a relaxed manner. They vary in format from a game format to slides.

This 1-on-1 session is suitable for unique learning needs such as ADHD, ADD, ASD, Executive functioning disorders, etc. Because the pacing and instruction is tailored to the individual, accommodations will be made to support the student.
