Students will work toward developing an understanding of word families, enhance their spelling and reading skills throughout the course. Additionally, students will be challenged with utilizing word families to create their own songs on a weekly basis, through doing so students will develop a strong understanding of word families and utilize music to assist in memory formation. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, honors specialization in fitness and exercise prescription. Additionally, I have had significant experience teaching preschool and elementary math and literacy skills to children as a traditional and non-traditional educator, both in group and private tutoring settings.
