Are you ready to dive into an exciting journey of self-discovery and build stronger, healthier friendships? Join us for a dynamic and interactive class designed especially for young people ages 10-14! This class promises to be engaging, fun, and filled with activities that will leave your child eager for more.

We’ll kick off with a fun icebreaker to get everyone acquainted and set the stage for an engaging session. Our primary focus will be on understanding the Circles of Friendship and learning how to set healthy boundaries. Through visual presentations and interactive discussions, your child will gain valuable insights into different types of friendships and the importance of boundaries.

Participants will also engage in fun activities reinforcing the concepts learned, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. By the end of the class, your child will have practical tools to manage their friendships effectively and the confidence to set and maintain healthy boundaries.

Each student will receive an interactive workbook to use during class and as a reference afterward, making it easy to review and apply what they’ve learned.

REQUIREMENTS

For the best virtual class experience, we recommend using two devices simultaneously: one for Zoom and the other for Nearpod. Any of the following devices - Laptop, Desktop, Tablet, iPad, Mobile Phone, or MacBook - will be appropriate for this lesson. On Device 1, join the Zoom meeting using the Outschool classroom, ensuring your camera and microphone are enabled. On Device 2, access Nearpod through the website or app and enter the unique code provided by the instructor to join the interactive lesson. If you encounter any technical issues, notify the instructor via Zoom chat for assistance. This setup will enhance engagement and ensure seamless participation in both the live session and interactive activities.

Learning Goals

Each student will be able to identify and define the different types of relationships within Circles of Friendship, including Inner Circle, Friend Circle, Outer Circle, and No Circle.
Each student will be able to recognize the significance of each circle within Circles of Friendship and understand how they contribute to one's social interactions and overall well-being.
