2. Will understand the importance of self-concept / Self-awareness in identifying and developing an appropriate career path.
* Lived-experiences in relation to understanding and application of self-concept which I have had the opportunity to serve in for over Ten years as a mentor through my role as an Adviser / Director for a student-led organization at Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana.

* Relevant training I have received previously with respect to concepts presented in this lesson is as a certified Life-Coach which addresses, Personality traits and self accountability amongst other relevant aspects of life-coaching.
There are no homework requirements for this class. Interactive Class activities within live class will provide sufficient knowledge acquisition.
However, further reading and other supportive resources will be recommended for students continuous growth and mastery of concepts thought
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal assessment is utilized as well as letter grade assessment which is provided via a grading rubric.

Both formative assessment (to allow for a quick check of understanding) and summative assessments are worked into the presentation .

Formative assessments will be used for this lesson to understand students' cognitive processes, and to provide the support needed for content and process with regard to essential questions: 1. What Is the significance of self-concept in identifying and developing an appropriate career path?

The purpose of the various activities and required tasks is to provide students with a practical and engaging platform through which they can demonstrate their thinking about the significance of Self-concept/Self Identity in a chosen career path, related to the essential questions. In real-life circumstances or individual accounts, everyone is on a journey to discover themselves - Who, why, and what their purpose is - even if they do not realize that the questions they ask themselves, and the different things they try out or experiment with, are all part of the process of self-discovery.
The activities in this lesson are intentionally orchestrated to provide a step-by-step process that enables the student to develop a sound understanding of the concepts presented.

The students' work will be assessed with a rubric and how their classmates scored them on the rubric will be taken into consideration as well.

Formative assessment with teacher and student feedback: Students will receive feedback from their peers and via a teacher-created rubric .

50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
