In this five-day class, you’ll be introduced to the artistic rules and concepts of photographic composition, as well as how to see light. Any camera is fine for this class, including phones, mirrorless cameras, and DSLRs. Beginners welcome!

***NOTE: This class covers the artistic side of photography and does NOT cover the technical aspects of using your camera. Assignments can be done using your camera’s Auto Mode or your phone if necessary, but this class is also an excellent followup for students who have already taken an introductory DSLR class. I've been a professional photographer since 2001 and have a wide range of photography experience, including many years photographing babies and children. These days, I especially love photographing animals, insects, flowers and food. I've been teaching photography for over ten years to professional photographers, enthusiasts, and teens through group workshops, private lessons, and online classes. I'm recognized as a Master Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America and was also awarded the organization's Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of my work teaching other professional photographers.
