In this ongoing class, students will develop concept of word, a fundamental reading skill, through reciting a poem while tracking the text and identifying words from the poem both in context and from a word list.

In this ongoing class, the students will learn a short poem to help them develop the fundamental reading strategies of tracking text from left to right, pointing to each word as it is read or spoken, identifying words from the poem in context, and identifying words from a word list.
