This class is for kids who love to figure things out. Each week our detective thinking journals will change and grow with the students. Pages focus on pushing ourselves to solve puzzles, crack the code, find the suspect, be a detective, following directions, cracking codes, paraphrasing, recognizing whether text makes sense, applying knowledge to problem solving and conceptual thinking. I'm a proven Outschool teacher with over a year of experience creating, revising, and perfecting virtual classes. I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university, online, or private tutoring sector. I have a business communication degree, a writing minor, and a teaching certificate. I have a dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. I am a mental health workshop facilitator which provides resiliency skills to kids through games, role-playing, crafts, and Socratic group discussions.
