US Grade 1 - 4
In this multi-day camp club, students will come to class having read the A to Z Mysteries book by Ron Roy "Detective Camp" and share their favorite parts while discussing what they read with their new friends. The teacher will model by sharing and then the students will take turns sharing and listening to one another share about their favorite parts of the stories while discussing the book. On day 1, students will focus on sharing what happened in the story. On day 2, students will focus on sharing their favorite part of the story while drawing an illustration of it. Let's have fun discussing our favorite parts of the A to Z Detective Mysteries by Ron Roy: "Detective Camp."

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
