Class experience
If you could design your dream home, what would it look like? This three-week class is inspired by "The Big Orange Splot" by Daniel Pinkwater, a short charming children’s book about a man who transforms his home to fit his dreams. His home inspires his neighbors to create houses that fit their own personalities. We will read the book and encourage children to use art materials to design a house where, as the character says in the book, “My house is me and I am it, my house is where I like to...

Children can use any art materials they have in their home, crayons, markers, oil pastels, pencils and art paper, printing paper or card stock are all good.
