Description
Class Experience
In this 2 day art camp, young artists will design and paint a unique mushroom village. Day 1: We begin this class by drawing an outline of a mushroom village on watercolor paper. Learners will be given easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. We will place our mushrooms along a winding dirt path in the foreground, middle ground, and background. I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons. I have been teaching art on Outschool since August 2021.
Students may want to add additional mushroom houses and/or details to their village after the 1st day of class.
Watercolor Paper Markers (water-based) Pencil Crayons Watercolor paints Paintbrushes (small fine tip, medium, and large flat brush) *I will work with whatever paintbrushes you have. Sharpie marker or Micron pen for outlining Cup of water Paper towels
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
