Description

Class Experience

Has your child ever had a great idea for a board game? Then, this is the class for them! In this course, students will be able to create their very own board game design. 

This class will be structured as follows: 

Week 1: 
Introductions
Learn Introduction the history of games, why people should play games, and  the characteristics of games
Develop the idea for a game

Week 2: 
Share their idea
Develop their ideas for game materials and game board layouts
Begin working on the rules

Week 3:...

Students will finish the tasks from each class for homework and share in the following class.

Blank Paper
Colored Pencils
Scissors
Tape/Glue

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Scratch

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students may need parental assistance for the use of scissors and glue.
