In this class learners will work with Mrs. Fimbel one on one or in small groups to create individual projects.
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 6
Intermediate - Advanced Level
In this course learners will develop a project and set goals for completing it. Some exames are: Fishing Board Games started in the group Game Design class. Individual TinkerCad projects for 3D printing, individual or small group TinkerCAD designs for other 3D projects. Learning more about 3D Printing In the first session learners will work with Mrs. Fimbel to identify the project and outline goals for completing it. Learners will decide on a project and create goals for it's completion then work with Mrs. Fimbel to create the project.
Mrs. Fimbel has been teaching for 11 years and is known for her creative approaches to teaching. She has created interdisciplinarity projects using TinkerCAD and has presented at the Texas Computer Educators Association about using TinkerCAD in interdisciplinary projects.
Homework Offered
There will be some homework depending on the project. Each week Mrs. Fimbel will set goals with the learner to complete between classes.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Mrs. Fimbel will review projects with the learner each week to evaluate if goals have been reached and to set new goals to complete the project. No formal testing.Grades Offered
I have experience working with neurodiverse individuals and am happy to support them so they can thrive! This class is totally flexible and focused on student's individual goals and is thus ideal for neurodivese learners!
Basic knowledge of TinkerCAD, or understanding that at least the first two sessions will be spent on the basics of using the program.
