Description

Class Experience

Students will be able to publish a book with no prior experiencing, even if you're a horrible artist. In this exciting class, you will be able to write, create, layout, and PUBLISH your very own book using Canva and eventually you will be able sell your book on Amazon.

We'll go through the entire process from conception to finished piece. I'll instruct you on on the finer points of outlining your story, graphic design, how to layout your book, and how to tap the vast resources available to...

Students will learn how to layout, design, and prepare a file to submit a book to Amazon. However, we will not access Amazon or KDP in this class. We will go step-by-step and every student will learn the process from a published author and illustrator (17 books to date).

Students will have the knowledge to produce additional books on their own.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Canva

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

I will show how to eventually publish on Amazon, however at no time will your student be asked to go to that site. Information will be presented via PDF and online slides.

I will provide a one-page cheat sheet after your student completes a class.
