This class is taught in English.
Learners should come away with a good understanding of what makes an experiment valid. How can external factors affect results? How can you design an experiment to limit such external factors?
THERE WILL BE OUTSIDE WORK IN THIS CLASS. The experimentation itself - all measuring, observing, recording of data, etc. - will happen outside of the Outschool classroom.
The materials and supplies needed for this class will be determined by the experiment your learner designs. However, please note that whatever those materials are, they will need to be obtained quickly, because your learner’s experiment will begin right after our first class meeting. If you have any limitations in this regard, please communicate them to me via the classroom discussion page, and I will do my best to steer your learner in a direction that stays within those boundaries.
Participation in class and execution of their experiment outside of class.
