Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
1 file available upon enrollmentPolymer Bake Clay (any brand you prefer. I like to use Sculpey). *In total, approximately 1/2 of a 2oz. brick is plenty!* Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, smoothing tool A Baking sheet (covered with parchment) A cutting tool (can be flat spatula, clay knife, anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works) A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay. Variety of colors of polymer clay (whatever colors you want for your dragon). At least one main color and an accent color. Note: I often use Translucent polymer clay for wings, but you can use any color you wish. OPTIONAL: Clear Polyurethane or glaze for after baking (I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275°F, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary. This class starts on time. We move along at a steady pace. I cannot backtrack for late students.
