In this one time class students will be guided into a live escape room design packed with spooks and excitement to celebrate Halloween!
Class experience
In this class we will be designing a spooky escape room game just in time for Halloween! Using a basic method, the students will be inspired by a Halloween theme. This escape game is to be played in real life, just like a brick and mortar escape room. Learners will create riddles, math problems, tactile puzzles, counting games, and a cyphers for their friends and family to play! We will talk about escape room games and why we like them. Students will learn how to create a spooky, real life escape game for friends and family using riddles, math problems, puzzles, and cyphers. Students will practice their creativity by using what they have around the house.
Flash light, dark space or dark room, Halloween decoration, paper, box/bag
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
May not be suitable for younger learners because of the spooky, Halloween theme.
