In this one time class learners will design an escape room game in their home for friends and family to play!
Class experience
In this class we will be designing a winter themed escape room game. The students will be inspired by a story. This escape game is to be played in real life, just like a brick and mortar escape room. Students can adapt the game to be played with friends and family via Zoom or Facetime. Learners will create riddles, tactile puzzles, decoding games, and have their friends and family escape from "The Cabin Fever Blues"! Students will learn how to create a real life escape game for friends and family using riddles, puzzles, and cyphers. Students will practice their creativity by using what they have around the house.
Paper, pencil, markers, or pen, winter decorations, envelope, gift box/gift bag.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students may need to use a box cutter or scissors to cut paper, rope, or boxes.
