In this class, we will discuss the life of the desert nomads - or Bedouins - of Morocco and the northwestern Sahara. The lesson will include a historical context of the Arab and Berber nomadic tribes, as well as aspects of their current day-to-day lifestyle - such as cultural practices, languages spoken and the iconic role of the camel.
