In this class, students are introduced to the wonderful world of alliterations and learn and practice strategies to learn beautiful, multi-sensory descriptions using alliterations. Alliterations are a wonderful addition to a child’s descriptive writing toolkit and even a simple single alliteration can transform a piece of writing. Unfortunately, they under-taught are under-used - let’s change that! Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an award-winning teacher with an undergraduate degree from Stanford and a Masters in Education from Cambridge University. I am also a bit of a digital nomad these days! I teach writing, public speaking, web and graphic design, financial management and college application/essay bootcamps. I’ve taught across the spectrum, from Kindergarten to high school and college and worked with students from all over the world! I love teaching and strive to create an educational environment that is impactful and engaging and that fosters creativity and inquiry. My holistic approach means your child will grow into an intelligent and avid learner, developing essential leadership, problem-solving and creative-thinking skills for lifelong success.
