Class Experience
Have you ever read a story and felt like you were there? This class will teach your child how to write using descriptive words and how to set the scene for the reader. In this class, I will be teaching the learners how to use visualization techniques and their senses in their writing. The learners will be doing some prewriting activities based off of a picture that I have chosen for them. After that, there will be some story writing and an option to share with the class. This class will strengthen the learner’s skills as a writer. It will teach them to use their senses and visualization techniques in their writing.
Your child will need a pencil and at least two pieces of paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
