I am a homeschool mom to 3 children, all of various writing abilities. With each of my children, I've found an incremental approach to writing to be the least intimidating and provided the most confidence in the writing process. Additionally, I am currently a graduate level student earning my masters in teaching English.
This is a flexible course and all course work is outside of live classroom hours. Students will need to spend 30 minutes to an hour each week watching the lesson videos, interacting with peers, and working on their written assignments.
Worksheets will be provided to help students organize their thoughts and writing. Students are encouraged to print these for use during class and when completing their assignments. Students will be able to use Kahoot or Wizer to review lessons and interact with the teacher and peers. Links will be provided on the corresponding week of the lesson.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
