Class Experience
During this class, students will enjoy learning the description of a character while practicing their writing skills in French. The class will take place over a 8 weeks period. Each week the students will be asked to complete a short writing assignment related to the description element (about 6-7 sentences, except for the final writing assessment). Passionate about writing and always looking to express my creativity through writing, drawing and painting, I want to share my passions with my students. I am a formal language teacher, an author for children stories, an educational designer and a future educational engineer. My rich teaching experiences will be very helpful to your child as well.
Each workshop is followed by an individual creative writing (few sentences long) to achieve the final writing goal. Student have to share their weekly writing task with me before the next class if they would like further feedback and advice. There is also a creative DIY project related to the element learned during the week. I encourage my students to complete both creative projects, writing and DIY, each week.
2 files available upon enrollmentAll my memory aids for the descriptive writing are available for your child to continue practicing afterwards, I will share a PDF file of my activity book into the classroom forum. The material (activity book) needs to be printed out and the learning kit installed on a smart pad or printed out.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class has one final writing project, a poster of a monster and his description in French (about 100 words long). Each student will receive feedback for their short writing assignment by message on Outschool. I also invite students to share their writing in the forum through out the process. Each student will receive individual feedback for their final writing project after our last class (on Outschool forum for learners).
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
