Description

Class Experience

In this course learners will learn how to make Marshmallow buttercream and decorate chocolate cupcakes to make them into s’mores cupcakes. These cupcakes are perfect for any occasion. In this course I will teach learners how to properly measure and mix ingredients. I am keeping this class size smaller in order to be available to help guide learners to be successful in their baking. Please make sure learners have all the ingredients and supplies ready before class starts. I will share a link...

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please make sure the learner has the following prior to class:
*Oven
*Whisk
*Measuring cups and spoons
*Rubber spatulas
* 2 Medium or large mixing bowl

Ingredients listed in the class description:

Flour
Granulated sugar
Baking cocoa
Baking soda
Baking powder
Salt
Vegetable oil
Milk
Hot water
Eggs



Frosting:
  1/2 cup butter
Marshmallow creme
3 T whipping cream
  3-4 cups powdered sugar

Garnish:
chocolate chips
favorite chocolate bar (one's that you can break up like a Hershey's bar. . .I used a Lindt bar)

*Rubber spatula
* Piping bag
* 1M frosting tip, if learner wants to decorate
* spoon
*Small spoons for testing frosting

**Learner's guardian is responsible for the safety of the student, this course requires an oven to be used. 
* If the learner has long hair they should have it pulled back so it won't get in their baked goods. 
***Learner's guardians are responsible for food allergies in the cupcakes. The required ingredients contain dairy, peanuts and wheat products.
