Did you know that Edgar Degas left more than 2,000 oil paintings and pastels and 150 sculptures? Wow! Come and learn a little about this famous artist as we read the story, "Degas and the Little Dancer." It shows many of his beautiful paintings of dancers and how he created his famous sculpture of, "The Little Dancer of Fourteen Years." Then we will do some creating of our own and make a simple popsicle stick ballerina! I have also included a Degas coloring sheet if you wish to print out for your student to color! I can't wait to see you in class!
