Description
Class Experience
Students will leave the class with an understanding of what stress is and how it can feel, tools they can use to overcome it, and the difference between good and bad stress. This class will normalize stress and promote healthy ways of working through it.
I have learned through many educational and professional experiences different ways of promoting positive mental health as well as stress and meditation techniques. I am also very passionate about this topic and have enjoyed teaching it to children and youth in the past.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The focus of this class is for students to learn different tools that may be helpful in managing stress. Please note that this is not meant to take place of any medical advice.
