Description

Class Experience

This four week ongoing course will cover key foundational number sense skills necessary for successful transitions to algebraic concepts starting with place value, rounding, comparing numbers for value, prime and composite numbers, factorization, introduction to fractions and fraction equivalency.  Math vocabulary is built into each lesson to assist students in transferring knowledge outside of this one learning environment.

Week One - Students will work with place value to one million with...

Students will receive short practice sheets that will need to be uploaded each day before the next class.  All feedback will be constructive and focused on building skills.

All materials will be sent out the day prior to each lesson.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
