Class Experience
In this class your student will memorize part of the poem "The Sugar Plum Tree" by Eugene Field. Classes will be lively and engaging with tips and tricks for memorizing the poem, but also these tips and tricks can easily be incorporated into other passages students want to memorize. Reviewing is an important key to memorizing so students will also be given tips and tricks on how to seamlessly incorporate reviewing into their daily schedule. Students will be given a chance to recite the poem...
Students will memorize part of the poem "The Sugar Plum Tree" by Eugene Field. Students will be encouraged to recite the poem aloud in class. Students will be encouraged to recite the poem to someone outside of class. Students will learn tips and tricks to aid in memorizing. Students will learn tips and tricks to aid in reviewing memorized passages. Students will enjoy learning the poem. Students will be introduced to the author of the poem. Students will be able to explain in one or two sentences the meaning of the poem.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
